I believe the proper term is "Arboreal-Americans"

  1. Emily, I am so far to the political Left that there are at least a dozen states in the Union from which I simply cannot be seen, such as from Texas. And yet, I would be compelled by a common sense of decency to shoot anyone who told me trees were like other exploited minorities. Thanks for posting that: It's good to be reminded the Left has its excesses too.

  2. I can actually recommend another book specifically on that topic: The Dark Side of the Left, by Richard Ellis. It has a chapter about crazy environmentalists.
