Aggressive hummingbirds

A couple of male Anna's Hummingbirds that were loudly chirping and occasionally getting up to chase each other:

The rival, probably a molting juvenile

Dolphins and pelicans

Red-Shouldered Hawk

Stalking on the ground like a dinosaur:

Snapping up beetles:

Carrying a leafy twig, perhaps planning a nest:

Spring babies

Ground Squirrels: 

Ravens: 

Great Horned Owl: 

Coral tree raven

They like to nibble on the flower petals.

Tiny guardian

I inadvertently walked under this hummingbird's nest, and was greeted with a flurry of angry chirps. 

Wind dancers

A white gull feather was drifting on the wind. Then a raven swooped to snap it up, dropped the feather, and caught it again:

Bitey babies

The baby cormorants are getting huge:

"Feed me!"

And they bite each other: 

"Hey, play nice!"

A tinier little one snuggling with its parent:  

Raven with pinecone

This raven appeared to be picking out bugs or seeds from within the pinecone, but I also got the impression that it was having fun examining and picking apart this complex object.
